back when i was young and impressionable, i read an advert published by Sarah Records to announce their final release and imminent destruction. it was full of statements that i feel to this day.

"...because when you were nineteen didn't YOU ever want to create something beautiful and pure? ... habit and fear of change are the worst reasons for ever doing ANYTHING. ... Sarah Records is owned by no-one but us, so it's OURS to create and destroy how we want...".

the music may not have been "punk rock" but the ethic was (which is far superior). and now when my friends ask why we are doing this "bendies thing", i can only answer "because we want to". so if you don't understand creation without compensation, then just move along. i'm sure walmart.com would love some more traffic.

for the rest of you, we present THEBENDIES. not exactly what the world was waiting for. just seven unique personalities and hopefully a novel and honest approach to the (typically meaningless) things that fill our lives - music, books, films, thoughts, politics, religion, relationships, etc. it's all fair game here. there are no rules beyond honesty, decency, and respect.
