zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. just a good vibe throughout this whole book. because of this book, i planned a cross-country motorcycle trip that would touch all of the continental 48 states. planned is the key word here. it never happened, but reading this book is almost as good. plus, some good comparisons of life to motorcycles.
harry potter. i like all the books in the series. great entertainment. just ignore the looks of those around you who seem to be saying, 'are you a child?' with their eyes.
enders game. i'm not really into sci-fi books, but when a friend told me about this book it sounded rad so i thought i'd give it a read. i read it in one sitting spanning two days. it is incredible. literally incredible.
animal farm. a great book for those of you not wanting to invest a lot of time. there's other great stuff about it too.
the catcher in the rye. they say a lot of murderers have this book with them when they're caught. the guy who shot john lennon did.
les miserables. without a doubt the greatest story ever told. if you ever have about three years to devote, check out the unabridged version online here. beware, it's 756k.
